Young Scot Out and About
Hey all, It's sunny here at Young Scot HQ and we thought we'd start a regular blog on where we have been and what we've been up too. So here's your first installment! On the 14th June we were at Mary Murray Park in Prestonpans. This was an event where you could listen to local young bands, go on amusement rides, take part in sumo wrestling and generally just have a darn good time! We had our shiny white Infomobile so you could have a wee nosey to find out more about Young Scot. As part of our "in the Park" tour of Scotland we were at Tents in the Park in Perth. The atmosphere was immense with local young bands playing on the main stage and everybody had the opportunity to enter the skateboard/BMX bike competition, play street sports, laser quest as well as loads of other things. We were also handing out our great goodie bags! Then came the biggie - T in the Park!!!!!! Oh, it was good! We decided because we are such generous, thoughtful people, that we'd charge your phone and straighten your hair for free. So to make this happen we teamed up with the Edinburgh Powerpod and headed to Balado. What a weekend we had, your banter was first rate and the whole event was awesome! Cheers to everybody who came along and thanks to REM for making our weekend! We've uploaded photos of all the events for you to have a look at!
